No. JL Audio custom-engineered the low-profile shell lines so that the rear seat cushions can still fold completely down, lock securely for passengers, and flip up without restriction.

No. The enclosure comes equipped with heavy-duty steel-mesh grilles pre-installed over both 12TW3 drivers to protect the cone surfaces from floor debris or carpet contact.
- • Why does the bass output sound heavily rolled off or clip quickly at higher volumes?
The factory GM MyLink head unit aggressively pulls out low-end bass frequencies as volume increases to protect cheap stock speakers. You must deploy an active integration module or DSP to flatten the signal.
